✧ How to make a reservation?
Bookings are made exclusively online via the booking engine available on our website: CLICK HERE TO BOOK YOUR STAY ONLINE NOW.
✧ Can the dates of the stay be changed after booking?
NO. All confirmed reservations are final and non-refundable.
The dates of the stay cannot be changed after confirmation of payment.
✧ I would like to come in 2027, but I see few available slots, why?
Bookings for stays in 2027 are opened progressively throughout 2026. This organization allows everyone to benefit from availability spread throughout the year, while also giving people receiving a gift card at the end of the year the opportunity to book their stay under the best conditions.
✧ The weather forecast is bad, can I cancel my stay?
NO. Weather conditions are not a reason to postpone the stay.
✧ Can a stay paid for online be cancelled?
YES, under certain conditions (see Terms and Conditions).
- More than 8 days before arrival: full refund or possibility of postponement* depending on availability.
- Between 7 and 5 days before arrival: 50% of the amount of the stay remains due.
- Less than 4 days before arrival or in case of no-show: no refund or postponement will be granted.
* Postponement of the stay is limited to one time per customer and per booking number.
✧ Can I come with my baby?
Yes. We welcome babies under 2 years old.
Before booking, please contact us by email to let us know if you wish to stay with your baby.
To travel lighter, you can also subscribe to the "Baby Welcome" option, which includes:
- a travel cot,
- a bottle warmer,
- a bib,
- tableware suitable for toddlers.
✧ Can I stay for more than 2 nights?
YES. We invite you to send an email to contact@letoiledubearn.com with your desired dates, which are available on our website. We will then send you a customized quote for your stay.
— PAYMENT —
✧ What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay for your stay:
- by credit card via Stripe (CB, MasterCard, and Visa);
- with Klarna (payment in installments);
- with ANCV Connect Holiday Vouchers.
You can pay by check or cash. If you choose this option, please let us know by email before making your reservation.
✧ Is online payment secure?
YES. All payments made on our site are fully secure and encrypted via the Stripe platform.
✧ Is a security deposit required?
YES. For stays booked with a gift card, a €100 credit card authorization will be requested the day before arrival via a secure link. No amount will be debited unless there is damage or failure to comply with the terms of the stay.
For reservations paid directly online, the bank imprint taken during payment serves as a guarantee.
In the event of justified damage, deterioration or additional costs, the owner reserves the right to deduct the corresponding amounts.
Any abusive or fraudulent bank dispute may be subject to recovery proceedings.
— ACCOMMODATION —
✧ Do we offer a catering service?
NO. You will find a refrigerator and a microwave on site, so you can bring your own food. We can suggest nearby restaurants if you would like to eat out: CLICK HERE TO DISCOVER RESTAURANTS NEAR THE DOME.
✧ Is bed linen provided?
YES. The bed will be made upon your arrival.
Bath towels, bathrobes, slippers, a hand towel and a tea towel are also provided.
✧ Is shower gel provided?
YES. We provide a natural soap suitable for both body and hair.
✧ Is it completely dark inside the dome at night?
NO. Despite the presence of blackout curtains, complete darkness is not guaranteed.
The dome can be illuminated from the early hours of the morning. If you are sensitive to light, we advise you to bring a sleep mask.
✧ Does the accommodation have heating or air conditioning?
YES. A reversible heat pump allows you to heat or cool your home depending on the season.
However, since the transparent part of the dome is not insulated, the temperature can be higher in summer despite the presence of blackout curtains. This is one of the unique characteristics of a geodesic dome.
✧ Is a Wi-Fi connection available?
NO. The accommodation does not have a Wi-Fi connection.
We made this choice in order to promote a true break from disconnecting and a more immersive experience in the heart of nature.
✧ Is the Nordic bath usable in the rain?
YES. The Nordic bath remains accessible even in case of rain.
Even the rain brings a particularly pleasant and immersive atmosphere to your moment of relaxation.
✧ Is the dome private?
YES. The dome and all its outdoor facilities are entirely private and exclusively reserved for travelers during their stay.
— SECURITY —
✧ Are pets allowed?
NO. Animals are not allowed on the premises.
The accommodation is not suitable for them and the presence of our own animals on the property does not allow for peaceful coexistence.
✧ Is the establishment suitable for children?
NO. Our accommodation is exclusively for adults.
Only babies can be accommodated. Children are not allowed on the premises.
The configuration of the premises, as well as the nature and fragility of the dome, do not allow for ensuring their safety under optimal conditions.
✧ What security measures are in place?
The dome can be locked with a key.
The accommodation is equipped with:
- a smoke detector;
- a fire extinguisher.
The stairs and outdoor pathways are lit up at night to facilitate movement.
A CCTV camera is installed on our private driveway, pointed towards the entrance and the parking area. It does not film the dome, the private spaces, or the public road.
— ARRIVAL —
✧ Is the arrival self-service?
YES. The day before your stay, you will receive an explanatory video containing the arrival procedure, useful information for your stay as well as the code to open the key box.
This will allow you to arrive independently, at the time that suits you, from 3pm onwards, without constraints or pressure.
— ACCESSIBILITY —
✧ Is the dome accessible to people with reduced mobility?
NO. Due to the sloping terrain and external access, the accommodation is unfortunately not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
✧ Is it possible to access the dome by car?
NO. Vehicles cannot access the dome directly.
Private parking is located approximately 100 meters from the accommodation, then access is on foot.
— GIFT CARDS —
✧ I have a gift card that was purchased before June 1, 2026. How can I use it?
Gift cards purchased before June 1, 2026 benefit from the rates in effect at the time of purchase.
To use your gift card, please contact us by email before making your reservation . We will make the necessary adjustments so that you can benefit from the applicable gift card rates.
Please note: if the validity date of your gift card has passed, we will not be able to extend its validity period or change its expiry date.
✧ How long are gift cards valid for?
Gift cards are valid for 18 months from their date of purchase (for all cards purchased from 01/06/2026).
After this period, they will no longer be usable.
✧ Can a stay paid for with a gift card be cancelled?
YES, under certain conditions and without refund (see Terms and Conditions).
- More than 14 days before arrival: postponement* possible depending on availability;
- Less than 14 days before arrival: the gift card is considered to have been used;
- In case of no-show : the gift card is permanently lost.
* Postponement of the stay is limited to one time per customer and per booking number.
